From the ramp, you can proceed into the event through the VIP gate, located in the hallway to the museum on the P1 parking level.
We will have wheelchair accessible seating areas that also include chairs by both stages. The ADA area for the Main Stage is just off the Esker Grove patio, by the main entrance to the museum. The ADA area for the Garden Stage is just north of that stage. You are welcome to use both of these areas along with anybody who is attending the event with you.
ADA port-a-potties are located throughout the event. You can find two accessible all-gender restrooms (single-stall, locking) in the corridor between the parking garage and the Main Lobby. More restrooms, including a family restroom, are located on the Walker’s lower level, next to the Art Lab.
Food Allergies and Medication:
Outside food and beverages are not allowed in Rock the Garden. If you have a food allergy or need to bring medication into the event, we are happy to make an exception to this rule. Simply let security know as you are coming through the gate that you have a medical need and have been authorized to bring in your items.
An accessible water station is located on Vineland Place. There are also water fountains located in the lower level bathrooms.
Quiet Areas and Baby Care Spaces:
If you need a private space to nurse, use a pump, or take a break, please visit the medical tent located in the Cargill Lounge near the Main Lobby. You are welcome to nurse anywhere in the event.
If you need to store any medical equipment during the event, lockers are located in the lower level just off the main lobby. Check in at the Main Bazinet Lobby desk to grab a key.
